For civil discussion of US politics. Be excellent to each other.
Rule 1: Posts have the following requirements:

Rule 7. No conjecture type posts (this could, might, may, etc.). Only factual. If the headline is wrong, clarify within the body.

"small government" wants to control what you can and can't read.

So a few small, rural school districts with the most socially conservative people control what a state of 3M people can read. What a great system.
The Mormons wouldn't want it any other way. Even though less 50% of residents indentify as Mor[m]on, the State legislature is over 80% Mormon. And white. And male.
Huh... This doesn't bode well...
