You can now grab lemmur from f-droid and the Play store.

If you want to follow lemmur releases/news checkout the repo and/or follow the [email protected] community. You can always support the development on Patreon or BuyMeACoffee

PS. We do not flavor our releases: github release tab, fdroid, and play store apks are built from the same source code. Feel free to download lemmur from any place you like.

:party popper: soooo nice to have this on f-droid now. I've updated https://join.lemmy.ml/apps/ to link to lemmur's f-droid.

Just got it today after a refresh of the F-Droid repos, many thanks!

Maybe worth having a dedicated community here?

I even linked to it in this post :)

I just mistakenly thought it was [email protected]. And there's even no such community.

So, how to translate this app?! In strings can't find any words for translating...

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 years ago (2 children)

because it is currently not possible, sorry

Can https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-translations be of use? Are there a lot of Lemmur-specific strings?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 years ago

Here's an issue for it : https://github.com/krawieck/lemmur/issues/49

Luckily flutter does have i18n libraries, so it's doable for it to use lemmy-translations as a submodule.

It was sarcasm?!

Thanks for sharing

I just checked both locations and couldn't find it.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 years ago (1 children)

Not sure what you mean? I linked to both

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 years ago (1 children)

Yeah I can get to them from those links, but if I search lemmur in either app it comes up with 0 results.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 years ago (1 children)

It is true that on play store it cannot be searched (probably too little downloads?) but on f-droid I can search it fine

Sometimes I get a bug on f-droid where repos don't wanna update :/ The only solution I found is to go the hard way : reinstall f-droid (I had to do that to find lemmur this morning (-: )

I refreshed the "latest" part of the app and now it shows up.
