Trump is actually going to try to claim the Ukrainian victory for himself isn’t he?
I think hell cut an unfair deal to Ukraine, accept it largely without their negotiation, cut help, and claim victory for himself. This idea will run largely unopposed amongst his cult members.

No. Trump will claim he ended the war no matter what way it ends. That's pretty obvious by his past actions and is what everyone is trying to to tell you.

Yes it did.
Victory? What victory? He's going to cut off all support and present Ukraine with a choice between handing Russia half of their country now, or all of it in a year's time. And Putin will say "Good doggy" and pat his head just like he so desperately wants.
I don't think it's necessarily a misleading headline. I don't doubt for a second that Trump would make some meaningless demand with no regard for reality
