I'm listening to the audiobook of the Gormenghast trilogy and the names of the characters are just amazing. After the initial 🫢 the characters grow larger than their names.

What awesome books.

Dr Prunesquallor. a really nice kind competent character

Lord Sepulchrave. The sensitive lord.

Flay. The loyal brave and smart personal assistant to Sepulchrave

Lady Fuschia. The teen daughter

Swelter. The head chef, a disgusting character

Nanny Slag. A sweet old lady.

Deadyawn. A school teacher.

Dog eye, a student.

Damn

In any event, I'm happy to make this a regular thing if you guys like (or rather, don't mind). Both posting the DTs, and including a weather forecast. I should be up at midnight most nights for the foreseeable future. Don't want to steamroll anyone, though

Parcel 5 (Scumazon): package arrived at carrier facility (10:03am); due by 8pm. Parcel 5, 6, 7 (AliExpress, combined parcel): "package arrived at local delivery center and will be on its way to you soon"
