CHINA – a major source of outbound tourists – has left Canada off a list of countries now approved for travel by tour groups, its embassy in Ottawa said on Wednesday (Aug 16), due to anti-Beijing rattling by Ottawa.

The Chinese Embassy in Ottawa said in a statement that the reason behind the snub was “the Canadian side has repeatedly hyped up the so-called ‘Chinese interference’”.

China is a fascist shithole that practices hostage diplomacy. Go somewhere else and never look back.

Thanks China!

And now I hope that we upgrade the danger level of Canadians going to China now that they're pushing anti-spying laws and policies on par with wartime levels.

The two Michaels were just a warning. We need to increase separation from China until they cool off and start actually following international laws and conventions.

Yeah, because what Canadians are heartbroken about is to not to be allowed to visit a country where Canadians are randomly arrested, thrown in jail and treated like animals for months and months under pretext of suspected espionnage.

Other way around. Chinese nationals can't visit Canada.

Oh... wow. well. right.

Good. The only tourists worse than Chinese tourists are cruise ship tourists. Has anyone been to Banff in recent years? Insufferable
