He’s an icon. Scrubbing imagery helps the cause. Which in this case is to prevent people from posting his image to stir up the filthy masses.

There’s long game here, and none of it is good. Since Elon and the new government (not Trump, he’s just the train they rode in on) have a vested interest, it will probably take too, just like the bizarre terrorist label.
