Hey all, I created a logo for [email protected] and uploaded it, a few days later it was gone. So I did it again. And this morning it is gone again. I have looked via my home instance, Sopuli as well as a guest on reddthat.

The image is a ~~jpeg~~ png that is 498x498px and 17kb. I cannot imagine this is too large of a file.

Any idea what I am doing incorrect? I have used files of similar sizes for the other communities I mod without issues.

I have no idea if this will help but I've had issue swith pinning posts in a community I mod from another instance, maybe your issue could also be related to your account being on sopuli, and this community being on reddthat.

Could also be completely unrelated but maybe it's worth looking into?

The cross instance could be an issue. However I also mod [email protected] and the image I used there has stayed. I used almost the exact same image size there.

I did try signing up for an account here but my application was denied.

It's certainly not too big, as we can upload 25MB images without issue!

This is probably a bug with Lemmy as we have not upgraded to the latest version. 0.19.8 has a thumbnail issue that was resolved so it's possible that it's related.

I'll schedule it for Tuesday around 00:00 UTC.

Hopefully once that is done it will be all sorted!
