It's not George Lucas levels of tinkering but I'd also want the original theatrical release.
Since he's really only talking about one scene, it would be neat to see both versions side by side.
Are the existing home releases different? It sounds like Finchers problems are mostly image quality issues, not changing the actual content of the film like Lucas did.
