Everyone is asked to certify they are eligible age, a Canadian citizen, if they are voting in the selected riding or not, and they have not voted already.
Even if you go the vouching for someone route, your names get written down for the voter rolls, their eligibility can be verified later, and penalties for both the voucher and voter are stiff for a false declaration.
This isn't a problem that Rustad is making it out to be. US and Canadian conservatives should be reminded that many of the most recent confirmed cases of voter fraud were committed by Republicans in favour of Trump.
