Looks like it’s trying to be remotely updated. Who knows if it will finish or if it has crashed. It’s Macy’s so it’s probably been like that for weeks.

A long time ago I took a picture of a price checker at a Toys R Us with the WindowsCE desktop. It had the IE shortcut and everything.

These price checkers are basically just thin clients working off the central store PoS server. These models run a super old version of Windows CE that loads the store applications at startup. This one just looks like it can't connect to the server.
