There's exists the probably that in the future the oldest living mammal is a lab rat.

I don't see any peer review as of yet.

"There are some positive signs but many, many unknowns. It is a good beginning of a study,” says Irina Conboy, a bioengineer who studies ageing at the University of California, Berkeley. She adds that more work is needed to confirm whether miR-302b is truly having anti-ageing effects, and to make sure that such treatments wouldn’t have adverse effects in people.
