The real news is that daddy Sam and the states let them do this.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_Dan_River_coal_ash_spill

At the time, it was the third largest coal ash spill to have occurred in the United States.[17][18][19] Prior to the incident, environmental groups had attempted to sue Duke Energy three times in 2013 under the Clean Water Act to force the company to fix leaks in its coal ash dumps. Each time, the groups were blocked by NCDEQ, which eventually fined the company $99,111.[20][21] Federal prosecutors found this fine to be suspiciously low, and investigated both Duke Energy and the state regulators.[22] Many newspaper editorials alleged that Duke Energy's environmental safety controls were lax and that the company "bullied" regulators.

EPA later came in to do a proper cover up 🤡

ML and world shave created the same issue... They control some of the largest communities for generic topics.

So without fedi can be rather empty. I doubt they will change their ability ops, so only alternative left is to educate new comers and seed alternatives.

Safety razor is prolly easier option for a rookie.

It is always cheaper than disposable long term

Good shaving cream and maybe pre shave if cream itself doesn't work.

Its a bit pricey up front but it lasts as you need very small amount to get desired results. Then after shave. I just use cream and it is fine but when I started I used pre and after since I had similar issues to OP

It recently came to my attention that sundar the creep shut down future proof video channel due to advertisers bitching about Levi doing too good of a job at calling out these parasites.

Google products are hostile the peasants, at the rate we are going they won't be usable unless you are lacking self respect

Hmmm.... Why did this get removed? Seems like content censorship

Why is it such big deal for some people?

Torrenting my linux ISOs and public domain contenty and it seems to work fine without port forwarding?

Alright good folk, what's your take here.

Just looking to seed the place a little a bit with some side bar discussion, maybe get into more feeds to spread the word.

When I joined fedi, privacy on ml seemed like decently robust community but I would posit that endless modding of anti China and Russia sentiment really chocked the air out of it.

Similar thing is happening on .world too

Protests have now spread from Tbilisi to Batumi, Zugdidi, Kutaisi, Telavi, Gurjaani, and other Georgian cities, sparked by the government's decision to postpone EU accession talks.

Welp... looks like Russia is turning up heat and locals aint having it.

Hopefully Georgian security forces understand who they are supposed to protect here.

Need to expand local storage for local media streaming. Running a regular desktop on linux.

I am willing to spend money on "the best" for streaming purpose while and hopefully something I can keep reusing down the road if it lasts.
