Did they really, or is this one of those company 'sells' X to other department of the same company things?

Honestly this is the first I've even heard of Meta smart glasses.

I do think this a legitimate end-user sale figure.

I believe Apple sold 500 K Vision Pro units in 2024, so it's not unreasonable for Meta to hit such sales figures.
