I really hope the EU takes the side of Ukraine seriously, both politically and militarily. Ukraine is being carved up between two fascist dictators and it's completely unacceptable

Ukraine is becoming today's equivalent of Poland being divided up between the Nazis and the Soviets. Surprisingly it's basically the same groups this time, too.

Someone has to take the initiative. The us has enough problems at home.
Americans seem to have a significant lag time between the formation of its own dictatorship and realizing said formation of a dictatorship, and between realizing the formation of its own dictatorship and going to actual war (if they ever even do) to stop it.
Which makes some sense, considering none of them currently alive knows what it means to fight on their own soil for their own soil. They’re too gobsmacked to know what to about anything at all right now, so my guess is that Ukraine is going to have to look elsewhere for support.
How does this defy Trump? Trump is not in power in the UK.
