I get what you're saying, but for the sake of the Trumpists let's point out that Canada isn't firing any shots or being in any way aggressive. All the aggression is coming from the USA.
I seriously doubt Americans would be doing this, these would be Canadians living in the USA.
I was talking about the aggression of threatening to annex our country. That's aggressive; playing our national anthem to the aggressor is not. "Shots fired Canadian style" runs a risk of muddying this matter.
You realize “shots fired” is a colloquialism… yeah?
If you insult someone, someone would say “shots fired”.
So the user only stated. They’re insulting them, Canadian style.
I do know. I just wanted it on the record that not really. I'm just paranoid about US propaganda painting Canada as the aggressor, like how Russia (and now the USA too) paints Ukraine as the aggressor.
I get what you're saying, but don't stress it. If they're coming, they'll find a reason. It won't be this. Never worry about their response when engaging with fascists. Truth means nothing to them.
