I discovered Farscape in 2003, late at night dealing with immense pain after cancer treatment. Late night cable airings.

As I dealt with the pain and the anguish of cancer, the one thing I looked forward to was the adventures of John and Aeryn, Moya, Crais, D'Argo, Zhaan, etc.

I still celebrate Farscape. It has a special place in my heart for so many reasons.

I know this post is old, but I have a less severe but similar connection.

Years ago I got really sick and was briefly in the hospital. When I got home I could barely move. It took me a month just to be able to walk around the block again and eat solids.

I discovered Farscape when laying in bed recovering scrolling through Netflix, and it was just a fun show to have on when I was awake.

I’m rewatching for the first time since then and it’s better than I remembered.
