If you’re in the woods with headphones on (or a speaker), what the actual fuck are you doing listening to music instead of nature?

I run in the woods with music playing through a speaker.

Why?

So the animals know where I am.

That way, the bears announce themselves when I’m still a reasonable distance away, and we can avoid each other.

Plus, the birds like the music.
