Bro is taking a minute to reflect on how it’s still worth it to be a good person even when things seem to keep getting worse all the time

Oh I thought he was reflecting on all the cholesterol he’s about to consume!

A version of "nice guys never win".

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Good hearted people aren't necessarily nice. In fact, they're often mean to oppressors.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 day ago

yep. good hearted doesn't mean nazi coddler, in fact, it often indicates a reduced amount of tolerance for the people who make intolerance their entire personality.

I think the second part means "damn! Do we ever win?!" expressing frustration. Not sure with that grammar, though. At first I took it as "damn do we ever win" meaning that "we always win" or "we win big".

I don't understand it either. I'm stupid, so you're likely to be as well, sorry.

That's sounds like something a smart person would say...

What happened to his face? The skin looks strange

That's Homo Instagramus, a new species of hominid that exists only on Instagram, as it requires excessive camera filters to stay alive. When deprived of filters, the instagramus' genetic code loses stability, and it reverts back to a human being.

You are on lemmy, you shouldn't care about that things. If you are really concerned, there are instances where downvotes are disabled.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago

If you get banned on .ml you can post it to [email protected] or on any other instances to [email protected]

Bad airbrush job/filter to smooth skin.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 day ago

My Samsung phone does this to my skin if I put the filter on. It's pretty ridiculous looking.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Possibly a face filter but I think it's just a little blurry because it's a still from a video.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 day ago

This looks like poorly done masking of skin issues to me. Notice how it excludes the eyes and parts of his skin near the hairline are not blurred.

It’s a screencap of a video
