Amazing game. Also, my first after changing to Linux!

I'm also close to finish the first game. It a little bit clunky and buggy sometimes but its overall a great game. I'm excited to play the second one

Fantastic game but I'm honestly so shit at the combat. So my Henry is a goth who prowls at night, stealing the goods of every shopkeeper in his quest for revenge.

Also, massacred the monastery and accidentally saved so I guess he's done that, too.

Yes it's grindy, but spend 2-3 hours with Bernard at sword practice. It will be worth it.

If you want any advice to help in combat, I'm happy to give you a breadcrumb. I knew I'd love playing that game within minutes of watching a friend play it. I've put countless hours in and can't wait for my next playthrough.

Should I play this one first or can I just go straight to the new one that came out a few months ago?

I'd recommend the first be played first, but I also think that if you instead play the second first and you love it, you can then go back and play the first.

The story unravels a bit smoother from 1 to 2 than in reverse.

Both are great games on their own.

Kingdome Come Deliverance has to be my all tile favourite video game. Its unlike anything I've ever played. Just started playing KCD2 and the intro gave goosebumps all over. Hope you enjoy the game to its fullest!

Having a hard time getting into it but I'm getting the witcher 3 vibes which is easily in my top 5 or 10.

It does have a learning curve for sure, but once you get it, its defo more fun.

KCD2 fully lives up to kcd. Absolutely agree wkth them being one of my all time games as well. They're just perfectly done, and they're such good looking games.

Happy days. I've yet to play this one myself but it is on my list

I was totally surprised over how much I loved this game. It was free on Epic a while back.

First I watch this video, then I run across this thread. Weird.

I think I just suck but I keep playing like an hour or two and dying, making little progress.

Take advantage of any and all offers from NPCs to teach you things. The beginning of the game is very similar to Morrowind in just how awful your dude is at pretty much everything until you start to level up.

reminds me of my first morrowind playthrough. died to a stupid bird thing because i missed every single attack

Thank St. Jiub for ridding Vvardenfell of the cliffracer problem. o7

I bought it cheap one sale in the last...oh five years ago or so (time is funny at this age) but I definitely had that experience. Sometime I want to get really into it to check I out but know I'll need to go invest in some training time to understand the mechanics to make the time seems relevant.

It reminds me of Gothic 1 really, it was brutal but a fun RPG, not as open as this one was(recall it being relatively small to even GTA 3 standards) but open for its era. Think I had to try killing a stupid mob for ages in that one, actually didn't get fa but it was done so well at the time.

my favourite game i can't wait to get my new pc to play the sequel

[–] [email protected] 6 points 22 hours ago

Great pick! Loved much about it, even play farkle irl regularly today since I played kdc1

[–] [email protected] 4 points 21 hours ago

playing its sequel now without having played the OG, and I’ll definitely be going back to pick this one up. KCD2 has been excellent so far

Great game, but I ruined it for myself when I found a consistent high-gear bandit spawn and cheesed myself into a 30k groshen account balance

I got that free on EGS a while back. Kinda bounced off the first melee tutorial, but I'd like to give it more of a go.
