Ok, I ate the onion for like 2 seconds, then realized it was The Onion. But I mean, it's sad that it's not that unexpected if it says it's coming from Trump. For a moment I imagined something like "If you get the Trump fishing pass, which costs 800k dollars, then you can fish in national aquariums." Of course, enabling billionaires to do even more shitty stuff.

I ate it because I kept reading "aquariums" and thinking the author meant protected wildlife areas, and it didn't click until I got to "marine exhibit"

And now I can honestly imagine them allowing rich fucks to literally fish inside national aquariums for a price.

Same, tbh that's is something tRump would say when he meant protected wildlife areas.

ROFL I ate The Onion for a second, they are scarily good at writing plausible satire!

I don't like that I had to do a double-take for this one.

Ignoring how fucked up it'd be, and how impossibly big the aquarium would have to be; demonstrating something like trawl fishing in an aquarium would be a great way to show people how bad it is for the environment.

I know it’s the onion but a good reminder to donate. My donations to environmental groups has certainly increased since the election
