Good riddance

I'm indigenous Canadian and my father was a traditional hunter and trapper that dealt with the HBC to trade furs up until about 1980.

This company built its wealth on the backs of indigenous people for 300 years. While the company worked people as slaves, they became enormously wealthy. Even their company reps were essentially slaves .... a lot of the Scottish descendents in northern Ontario were born from landless Scott's that had to give up their children to the company in order to pay their debts in Scotland and England.
