Chrono Trigger is fine as-is. Somebody needs to finish Chrono Cross, the half-baked sequel that deserved better.

I upvoted you for conversation, but I wholeheartedly disagree with you. Chrono Cross is the perfect sequel, first and foremost because it wasn't a recolor of Chrono Trigger.
And if you say it doesn't have anything to do with Chico l Chrono Trigger, I'm going to say with confidence that you didn't play it.

I liked Chrono Cross, but it was definitely not perfect. It was infamously rushed out the door too early. They had to hastily dump half the lore of the game into walls of text at the last minute before the final boss.
