I can't see them being keen to pay all his wages either as he would likely be second choice for any role at Barca. He still needs to drop to about £200k a week before he's going anywhere in Europe.

I hate dealing with Spanish clubs, esp. Barcelona. They try to low-ball everybody.
At Real Madrid they have the luxury of being a club that many talented players want to play for. With the players on their side and the danger of them just running down their contract that creates a different bargaining situation. For Barcelona (and likely every other Spanish team) it's as simple as them being poor, at least in comparison with Premier League sides.
They're broke my dude, back when they had money they burned it all on massive failures so they should be wary at this point. Rashford isn't even worth his wages, I've no idea why he even is a target.
