In what way is this different from Lemmy? Does this integrate with Pleroma and Friendica microblogging stuff in any way?

Summit

Last but not least, I am going to start gauging interest for PieFed support starting from this release. If you want Summit to support PieFed please upvote this post: https://lemmy.world/post/31899935 .

I think people are already aware, but if not, the OpenAPI docs are at https://freamon.github.io/piefed-api

I know that the 'Try It Out' commands work for the first server, but I don't know about the other 2 (piefed.social and feddit.online), because it's a whole thing with setting up CORS.

Oh nice! I didnt see that!

Makes me want to jump in. I do this sort of thing for my job. If I had more time.... OpenAPI makes things so much easier to work with.

..Also wow thats it? Thats not a huge amount of API endpoints :)

Oh this is very exciting! I'm new to PieFed and things look pretty awesome on this side of the Fediverse.

It's still in progress, but things are moving fast

Voyager

Please note, this is only improving edge cases when using Voyager with your Lemmy account to view Piefed content. Stay tuned for Voyager connecting directly to Piefed instances!

Good to see!

Side note: interstellar seems to be borked currently

Edit: wasn't the app.

Can do. I'm trying to see if it's my device, or something else before I report. 9/10 times, it ends up being something local that's the problem, and I'm just now installing on other devices.

I tend to do all my fediverse stuff on one old-ish tablet, so I've learned to check before bothering devs lol

Not the app!

After installing it on my phone and a different tablet, it repeated the same thing on the phone, but not the other tablet.

Turns out that on the older tablet, I don't have the VPN set up be always on. Turned it on, problem appeared. Switched though a few different exit locations and it would work on some, but not others.

So it's a piefed.social thing with VPNs, I think.

On my main tablet, I kept the same exit server since a few days before I tried the app the first time, and the app was initially working, so I didn't even think that might be the issue. So they apparently blocked that one fairly recently.

It would be nice if Jerboa were to support piefed.
