A community for your defence shitposting needs

Rules

1. Be niceDo not make personal attacks against each other, call for violence against anyone, or intentionally antagonize people in the comment sections.

2. Explain incorrect defense articles and takes

If you want to post a non-credible take, it must be from a "credible" source (news article, politician, or military leader) and must have a comment laying out exactly why it's non-credible. Low-hanging fruit such as random Twitter and YouTube comments belong in the Matrix chat.

3. Content must be relevant

Posts must be about military hardware or international security/defense. This is not the page to fawn over Youtube personalities, simp over political leaders, or discuss other areas of international policy.

4. No racism / hatespeech

No slurs. No advocating for the killing of people or insulting them based on physical, religious, or ideological traits.

5. No politics

We don't care if you're Republican, Democrat, Socialist, Stalinist, Baathist, or some other hot mess. Leave it at the door. This applies to comments as well.

6. No seriousposting

We don't want your uncut war footage, fundraisers, credible news articles, or other such things. The world is already serious enough as it is.

7. No classified material

Classified ‘western’ information is off limits regardless of how "open source" and "easy to find" it is.

8. Source artwork

If you use somebody's art in your post or as your post, the OP must provide a direct link to the art's source in the comment section, or a good reason why this was not possible (such as the artist deleting their account). The source should be a place that the artist themselves uploaded the art. A booru is not a source. A watermark is not a source.

9. No low-effort posts

No egregiously low effort posts. E.g. screenshots, recent reposts, simple reaction & template memes, and images with the punchline in the title. Put these in weekly Matrix chat instead.

10. Don't get us banned

No brigading or harassing other communities. Do not post memes with a "haha people that I hate died… haha" punchline or violating the sh.itjust.works rules (below). This includes content illegal in Canada.

11. No misinformation

NCD exists to make fun of misinformation, not to spread it. Make outlandish claims, but if your take doesn’t show signs of satire or exaggeration it will be removed. Misleading content may result in a ban. Regardless of source, don’t post obvious propaganda or fake news. Double-check facts and don't be an idiot.

It'd be more accurate if they were digging through homes and hospitals. Of course, that would make Israel choosing to stop kind of a plot hole...

On 13 April, he said, Hamas gunmen tried to force their way into the house of an elderly man, Jamal al-Maznan.

"They wanted to launch rockets and pipes [a derogatory term used for some of Hamas' home-made projectiles] from inside his house," the eyewitness told us.

"But he refused."

The incident soon escalated, with relatives and neighbours all coming to al-Maznan's defence. The gunmen opened fire, injuring several people, but eventually were driven out.

Tell Hamas to stop fighting out of homes and hospitals?

Mossad are good at assassinating people on France and the US. But Hamas? Nah, just carpet bomb, shoot at ambulances and crowds of starving children.

Fuck off.

yeah, I have seen too many videos, made by, and probably posted by, IDF killers themselves where they commit horrible crimes, and nothing is done about it. Like a group walking down a street, nothing is happening, very few people there, and an IDF just shoots a child sitting on a porch. Saw a video, from what looked like security cameras, of a small scuffle that left people injured, when the ambulance showed up, surprise! It's the IDF, and they started shooting at everyone. This is just two things. I do not deny Hamas commit war crimes, however, this is no defense of what the IDF is doing.

Two wrongs does not make one right. By bringing up someone's wrongs when his opponent is being held in a trial, you are only defending the accused.

We are not looking for the worst of these guys. We want to judge them both accordingly and you're not helping right now.

Two wrongs does not make one right.

If Hamas wants to fight the IDF without the involvement of Hosptials, Schools, and old peoples homes it is free to fight in the open battlefield, it had plenty of support from Iran, plenty of weapons, plenty of Islamic Jihadi's who WANT to die for Islam, it was more than capable of doing this but instead it chose to invade and quickly slaughter as many innocent civilians as it could as quickly as it could

On top of this Hamas was voted in by Palestinians knowing full well what they wanted to do AND had popular support well up until only a few months ago

Understanding Hamas’s Genocidal Ideology

A close read of Hamas’s founding documents clearly shows its intentions.

You can turn around and cry when you're losing all you want but reality speaks for itself, Palestine wasn't innocent here, if Ukraine had been busy shooting rockets into Russia, had been kidnapping Russians and stabbing them to death, had co-ordinated with terrorist states like Iran to antagonise the shit out of Russia support for them would be 50/50 at best

You're free to walk down the street in outrage at the Taliban's treatment of Afghani women or the massacres on the Tutisi's or the massacres across the Sahel or the treatment of Russians who don't want to join the army, just don't expect many people to be there

The citizens of Palestine got what they voted for and so did the Israeli's

I hate that 2/3 of my fellow citizens support this, either directly or or tacitly by choosing not to vote.

And so did the Americans

Fair, leave it for when we'll be talking about Hamas shittery, I promise you'll not find many of their apologists at all. But for now - please do just shut the fuck up, because we don't take kindly to zionists.

leave it for when we’ll be talking about Hamas shittery

When is that exactly?

because we don’t take kindly to zionists.

Just fyi this is the least intimidating threat of all time

I've been on internet forums for 20 years, I am aware that this place is a toxic leftist hellhole, you don't need to remind me

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

When is that exactly?

I don't know, just look around, might be a bit tough now that Israel has probably started WW3 of late.

I am aware that this place is a toxic leftist hellhole, you don't need to remind me

Oh yeah, must be hard being a zionist enthusiast these days, especially with all these yucky librols all around

This is just middle eastern war #9082131

You (I assume you're American) have been there for a very very long time:

Die Anstalt - 23.09.2014 ISIS and the Middle east explained (English Subtitles)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57fMqUl-sng

Europe has no intention of stepping up, mainly because they are busy with Russia but because they support what's going on:

Germany's chancellor defended Israel's attacks on Iran, saying it was 'dirty work Israel is doing for all of us'

https://www.dw.com/en/germanys-merz-says-israel-doing-dirty-work-for-us-in-iran/live-72939104

Funnily enough from that same page:

'Mixed feelings' in Iran — journalist Gilda Sahebi

They may be hoping that this may be the end of the regime, but although the regime is obviously weak, it is still as repressive as ever.

Wow just like Hamas!

btw I won't be participating in any pro-Iran protests I assume you're already quickly drawing up signs to go to

must be hard being a zionist enthusiast these days, especially with all these yucky librols all around

Since the Tiktok crowd of virtue signallers moved in yeah, I'm waiting for them to move onto whatever justice cause Gretel Hamburger decides to move on to next

Also I am left wing or a liberal as you'd say in America

I am a huge proponent of the fight against climate change (I am personally climate positive, you can also support me here, at the moment I am donating to Ukraine but will be back soon), I am also in favour of gender equality, science, education, I am atheist, detest religion, particularly Islam, and I am infuriated you elected Trump a second time, I still cannot believe it

But, just like Palestine and Hamas, I won't be talking about how sorry I feel for you all or attending any anti-Trump protests, not my fault America elected an idiot, and not my fault Hamas are a bunch of genocidal fuckheads that are getting their heads kicked in
