Does headless monitor fixes on Wayland mean we can stream 4k video to a 4k device without having a 4k monitor on our PC?

You can use Apollo for that, a Sunshine fork with more features: https://github.com/ClassicOldSong/Apollo
No you can't, because it's Windows only.
It lists mac and linux support on it's homepage.
They also provide docker support for running it on non-supported linux distros. Pinging @[email protected] since they were the ones who recommended Apollo to begin with.
From the usage section on their github:
Currently Virtual Display support is Windows only, Linux support is planned and will be implemented in the future.
Ah, shit, didn't realise that.
Yes, although the approach that was fixed only applies to Hyprland and some other wlroots compositors. You can use the virtual edid approach on other systems, but it may not be supported on Nvidia GPUs. You can also use it as a simple supersampling method, such as rendering at 1600p to a Steam Deck, for example.
I hope so, I know I've run into issues before with streaming from a server with no available monitors, so I'm hoping this will fix that.
Big if true!
I'd love if there was a way to mute Discord audio only for clients. When my friends connect they hear the game audio and themselves talking on Discord
