I don't live in either, but I do enjoy biking through some parts of Ladner occasionally. The area seems too remote for me overall, and sprawled out enough that I'd probably need to drive more if I lived there.

They're both nice communities. But tunnel traffic is a killer, if you spend a lot of time in Richmond or Vancouver that will make life miserable.

We desperately need the SkyTrain. They're new tunnel plan will have 2 dedicated bus lanes which will help a bit.
