Hi, I'm trying to make salmon sashimi or at least tartare. Anyone know where I can get some here in Calgary?

For good quality, I'd recommend Boyd's on 14th St SW - https://www.boydslobstershop.ca/

Not exactly sure that you'll find "good quality" and "isn't expensive" are compatible with each other...

The salmon at Costco is always pretty good quality! There is A LOT in one pack, though.

Do they have sushi grade fish though?

Sushi grade is a marketing term. In Canada all "fresh" fish in grocery stores has been flash frozen because of parasites. It will be fine

You've eaten the Costco ones raw? I'm a little hesitant, but I might try it...

No I've not, just saying it would be safe to do so

I don't know if the price is amazing but I go to E-mart on 17th Ave near Westbrook for my sushi fish. Go in the morning, they can sell out later in the day. It can be at refrigerator temp and or frozen.

A Mart on 10thst SW can be good too if E-mart isn't available.

Don't forget about the Bay of Silkome. Or the Straits of Chestermere.
