Another leftist movement implodes.
Antiwork

We're trying to reduce the numbers of hours a person has to work.

though also to be fair, calling anti-work a "movement" isn't even really that meaningful. The real movement going on right now is the revival of unions. [email protected] !
Agree - you can't get more of a contrast between (legitimate) but disorganized energy of antiwork and focused goal on improving the condition of laborers. The same amount of energy side by side, but one channeled toward constructive reform.
Syndicalism for the win!
You genuinely believe a subreddit was a leftist movement? It was a hub for discussion, that's about it.
I know it's paranoid, but I'm three-quarters convinced this is a psyop.
sadly, I've seen too much leftist organizing dysfunction to think that haha. Leftists are their own worst enemies. And I don't just mean fights between factions. I mean just... holy shit sometimes people are just so disorganized.
I remember when our local Occupy group decided to initially operate on a consensus basis. Ever tried to operate 100+ people on a consensus basis? No matter what was proposed, someone didn't like it and wouldn't budge. They eventually fell to a mix of infighting and the police clearing out the park they were occupying (which had turned to a mud bath in the mean time).
I share your paranoia on this one. Though I'll admit I didn't follow it real closely
Is this even a movement? And is this entirely leftist?
