Al would be proud Mark hired people who want to be and embody what it is to be RAIDERS. Just like Art Shell said, "Al told me, 'I didn't hire you because you are Black. I hired you because you're a RAIDER'". That speaks volumes to me. He saw the man as he saw himself to be, which is all I ask as a man...see me and judge me solely on what I do and how I am in your eyes, not your perceptions. Recognize b/s exists, but treat me simply as a man. I want no favors, I want no handicaps either. I can live with my own effort and results if I know the field I play on is level.

Who is this new president? The first black president is only another first of firsts in Raider history. AL Davis hired the first female president a while ago, Amy Trask I think she was. Art Shell. Tom Flores. Another great Raider first. At least the Raiders have always been diverse in those great ways.
