Since I moved to Berlin this has become a common occurrence.
As far as Berlin is concerned, this is the experience in the U8 at any time of the day.
There's always a party going on in Schönleinstraße...
My experiences were mostly at Ostkreuz and Warschauer Sraße, but I can imagine U8 being a ‘special’ train as well.
