Gonna throw out an expectation, cuz you asked, but it's gonna be much more about how this team looks and competes.

Win 3 of those and you are almost guaranteed to keep the gig, but you can't shit the bed. No losing by 40 to indy and 3 to the chargers while beating KC once and Miami.

Does it matter really? This is setting us up for another 7 or 8 game win record. This is what we always do. We end middle of the league so no good draft picks and no playoffs. Ugh.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Charger colts broncos but I think he can drop 1. Need to upset KC in one of those though. Imo

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

If he has to compete against harbaugh?!

Then he needs four wins. Doesn’t matter who or how.

If he has to compete against rich bissacia?

Then he needs 3 wins.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I'd expect 4-3, losing to Dolphins, and Chiefs both times, but it wouldn't surprise me if we lost to the Colts and beat the Chiefs on Christmas.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

If he wins 4 I think mark would seriously consider it given the Bissacia incident. If he wins 5 I think he’ll get hired immediately seeing as we’d probably be in the playoffs.

5 games. Beat everyone in the division once, Vikes & Colts & the game is yours. That is 7-3 since he took the job. Good enough for a 2 year contract

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I honestly think APs got the job already. Several reasons for that.

  1. Mark likely doesn’t want to spend big bucks on a new HC.

  2. It seems like Mark has finally understood that a HC can be as brilliant of a football mind as humanly possible, if they can’t lead and motivate a team they’re not going to do shit.

  3. Mark definitely regrets making the mistake of not hiring Bisaccia

  4. AP is the absolute definition of a Raider. Even if he isn’t the long term answer, he’s going to be the one to build this teams identity

  5. Literally everyone says he should get the job barring something drastic

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Why would his job interview start now and not when he coached his first game?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

We’ll he has 9 games to HC

So to be realistic, I’d say 3-4

Remember him and the GM were hired the day after the trade deadline , so they were stuck with the team Mcdumbass made

& the players love him

Just like they did our last Interim and Mark got rid of him , and he vowed to not make the same mistake twice

If they can stay competitive and not suffer any blowouts

He keeps the Job and he has already went 2-0 #facts

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

5+ wins = undoubtedly head coach 4 wins = likely head coach -3 wins = not our future head coach

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

In this stretch, 4 wins keeps him in the discussion. 5 swings favor to him. 6 wins or more, he’s the HC next year.

Hats off you dedicated fans that are actually watching them at this time! Hopefully you get to record them and watch them later.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

It's a matter of how he loses the game he loses. How he and his staff adjusts. Does he offer a bunch of bullshit platitudes like JMD did? What is a long term plan he would have with the Raiders?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I don't agree with what I'm about to say but I think it's the truth: all of them. He's going to have to go on some kind of miraculous run to keep the job. I think Mark Davis will want to make a big splashy hire and unless AP does something truly unheard of he isn't keeping the job. For me personally I love what I've seen as far and if he could win maybe two and at least play the Dolphins and Chiefs competitively I would keep him on board.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Competitive games, plus one win out of MIA, KC, KC, and wins against MIN, LA, and IND. That puts our record at 9-7, and probably a Donkey beating away from the playoffs.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

3-3, maybe win one of the games we shouldn’t.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Really doubt he is kept as HC. He'd have to make a playoff run.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

As long as we don’t lose against Bye’s…

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

As far as we know AP is not an offensive or defensive guru. Which means it’s going to harder in today’s NFL for him to be a head coach. I think not only do they need to win a few games he’s going to have to prove he can hire a great OC and DC. The biggest thing I think AP needs is for the offense to preform well the rest of the season.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I think a record of 8-9 gets him the job. Beat the broncos, chargers, and colts would do and then competitive in the other games with the team fighting for yards, big hits, etc.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I think no matter what you take a step back and see who’s available, interview everyone interested etc. There is no harm to this, frankly it would be stupid not to.

AP seems to be loved in the locker room, you don’t shake things up unless you are 100% the guy is an upgrade. Do not take any risky hires. You keep AP on until you find that guy. Do not hire someone just to hire someone.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

He could lose most of them and still get the job if the team is prepared and progressing.

It really depends on Aiden and what he can do.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I’d say at least 3 to get consideration

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

At least 4 with a good showing against KC (not necessarily a win, but play then tough)

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Winning against dolphins or chiefs should do it

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

If he beats the Chargers and Broncos and splits with the Chiefs, I think he's got it.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago
[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

All of them except for one game against KC

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I think it’s more about how competitive they are. If we lose by 3 it’s different than if we lose by 30.

If we’re close he should stay, bc genius Josh was getting blown out by everyone.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago
[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

If they don’t beat either the dolphins, Vikings, or split the series with KC, I think AP’s job will be in jeopardy. They gotta beat a good team.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I might get downvoted to hell for this but idc -

I kind of want us to stumble through the next few games so that we get harbaugh next year

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Needs to win 3 and be competitive in the rest at minimum to have any shot at the job.

Win 5 he’s for sure a lock.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Vikings, Chargers, Colts and Denver to end the season at the very least.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago
[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Vikings chargers colts all need to be wins, other games I’m ok with as long as it’s competitive

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Unless he wins the Super Bowl, the Raiders need to bring in a new team, preferably once with experience.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

AP: This team will never lose again!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I just want them to be competitive in every game.
