yo what does copy left mean i know that open source exists.
Oversimplified: basically if you create a derivative work of a copyleft IP (like changing it or including it in a different project), then you also have to release your derivative under the same or a compatible license that is also copyleft.

I wish there wasn't such a heavy tech focus. Common problem with a lot of the alternatives, the early adopters get on but they only want to talk about tech!

I love Lemmy! My biggest gripe is how heavily dependant of JavaScript is. But that's it. I love everything else about it :)
