He was injured in the offseason so we can hope like hell his lack of impact is because of missing camp and recovering from injury.

Byron Young is the 2nd most disappointing rookie from this class. But tbf, the other DTs have actually been playing pretty well lately.
He's played 99 snaps.

He hasn't looked like an NFL player AT ALL it's kinda crazy
Like people might be disappointed at Tyree but he's definitely big and strong enough to play in the NFL and has at least a few good plays while I'm 90% sure Young would have been cut if it wasn't picked in the 3rd round
Said this when he was drafted. Definition of JAG at Bama…benefiting solely from the work of superior players. We’ve got to stop drafting the least productive players at these big schools. The Conley’s, Arnette’s, Mullen, Muse, and now Young types. Get guys who were the guy, even from less pedigree schools.

This guy was rated a C- draft pick by one outlet I saw. He was a bad pick clearly. He’s inactive weekly cause he’s not good enough to dress and play. Another shitty pick
