If we crush the rest of the season, it means AOC is the truth. So you build around him. Unless you have an opportunity to trade up for a potential franchise qb. Don't believe me? Look in our own division. How did the Chiefs end up with the best qb in the NFL? Coming off a division title? They traded up for Patrick Mahomes even with Alex Smith on the roster. So even if we crush the season, if we can trade up for some truly franchise worthy ( Maye, possible Williams, possibly Penix, the rest not so much) then we do it. But if we can't move up, we don't.

But thats the thing. We arent going to crush the regular season. So don't worry about it. We will end up with 8 or less wins. Not being a doubter/hater. Just being realistic.

I feel, I think, I think, I think .

That's what this post says. Farva is a 4th round rookie playing with an OC that's never called NFL games in his life. That's it. That's the truth. Could he be a serviceable player one day? Sure. Is it WAAAAY top much to expect him to lead this team to the playoffs? Also true.

The dude just faced one of the great defensive minds in Fangio. Simple as that. Jacobs had 39 yards on 14 carries. So they were dropping 7 into coverage.

I dont think AOC is the guy going forward, I think he's got a pretty good NFL career ahead of himself, but I don't think he will be a top qb, ever. He won't even sniff the top. And that's totally OK. The Raiders deserve a quarterback that makes the rest of the league both scared and jealous. They can possibly draft one next year.

Technically, we are stacked at offense also. Goes to show you how much your left tackle, and more importantly, a non rookie qb is to have. I read the Hondo stuff that AOC just didn't have a deep enough knowledge of the offense to call more plays, but that still just shows how the qb makes things go. On a team with Davante, jj, renfrow, Meyers, etc...

Seems so simple, yet people always want to pigeonhole a position, don't they?

Because the bills are one more team pulled closer to the pack, i.e. we are closer to potentially getting to the playoffs.

Even after reading the real truth is this: AOC's arm is stronger than Jimmy. So the defense couldn't crowd the box. The run game took off and they ran more play action. What they should have been doing anyway

Waller needed to be traded. Also, no one thought Wilson was a reach. We all just thought we should've gone cb or taken the risk for Carter.

You are correct though, in that most people in life are expected to grow, mature, and change as time goes by. Josh didn't and now is out of a job (though I do wish I had his bank account) and won't get a 3rd HC opportunity.
