Yo this seems to be a bad take
I think something that defines humanity is that we really try not to follow the "rules of nature", ie. the rule of the stronger over the weaker

If youre coming on Nixos, I have a lot of resources in the bookmarks section here: https://codeberg.org/BlastboomStrice/LinuxPlan/src/branch/main/LinuxPlan.md#nixos-bookmarks
(This was a guide I made for myself in the span of ~4months to transition to linux and I still update it some times.)
I tried simplex today and it's very nice (I have signal for years and I tried to compare signal, briar, jami and simplex. Simplex turned out to be a very good solution. Though probably even fewer people use it compared to signal, so I might be alone for a while on that messenger.)
Oh wow, thanks for putting it into perspective! Those are very interesting stats:)
(Also lol, apparently not that many more communities are being created)
I'm not very versed into matrix, I suppose you can register on their server with that link above (https://anarchy.chat/) and then browse their rooms(?)
I'm still on 4d2, not on anarchy.chat, btw. 4d2's anarchism room link is this: https://matrix.to/#/#anarchism:4d2.org
I'm back with another instance I found: https://anarchy.chat/
Which is mentioned here: https://anarchyplanet.org/projects.html
I think I've also seen new communities being created too
The mayor of Novi Sad also is resigning too, the people there did an amazing job, an example for many other countries.
Here's the wikipedia page for anyone who wants to look into it more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024%E2%80%932025_Serbian_anti-corruption_protests
Congratulations!
I remember about half a month ago that I was working on a project and a little after I woke up I stared coding. I wrote a few stuff, might even stood up and walked a bit in the meantime. After some time, I looked up the time, about 2hours had passed and they felt like 15minutes...
During stressful or happy situations (or maybe for each situation that is intense or focus is required) I think my perception of time changes a lot, I get distracted and time seems to fly without me noticing, but I recognise that my mood affects my perception so I can somewhat "correct" my estimations.
Now I dont know if this fits, but I also notice that time seems to fly in general.😅 I can wake up and if I don't follow a schedule, hours pass soo fast. Days pass fast as well.🤷 I kinda have accepted it and I just try to have a schedule to semi-follow so that I can at least do things before time flies away.
I didnt report that bug cuz I ~just had installed nixos on my laptop and wanted to get things working again (it was some tedious 4 days after ~4months of preparation).
Once I get enough time again (now that my system seems stable enough), I might play around and try to file a proper report(s).
(There was also another issue with file associations preventing kde apps from exporting to some types of files, like png, jpg etc. I had set some file associations, differrent from the default and somehow it caused that bug. Check the step 13. in my guide if you want more info.)
Yo, the amazing digital circus, it goes hard (the first episode was rather brutal💀)
This is a good comparison of messengers here:
https://eylenburg.github.io/im_comparison.htm
Btw, an imprtant aspect of privacy is how metadata are handled/leaked. Signal trues to minimize metadata leak to near zero (there are some other messengers that do that, like simplex)
