Half of the starting QB's in this league are 25 & under. It's not so much a decline as it is a changing of the guard. One era is ending and a new one is beginning.

Bills have some important players getting older and their drafts haven't hit enough. This isn't a run it back situation for them.
It's Gannon for me. I know their record stinks, but expectations were low for the Cardinals to begin with. Despite that he has them playing some tough football. I would be very excited to see what he could do with more talent on the roster.
Bring back Steve Wilks.
They try to import the Belichick persona/Patriot Way and it never works out. They don't take what they've learned to develop their own leadership and culture. They just try to be Belichick and phonies don't last in this league. Maybe they'd still be bad, but they never had a chance.
The number of coaches who fail upward is insane. I can understand wanting to give someone a chance. Every HC has to start somewhere after all. But these guys who get a second chance for no tangible reason blow my mind. I'd rather take a gamble on an unknown quantity.
I'll never be able to understand letting Rich Bisaccia walk just so you could hire Josh McDaniels of all people instead.
Never give a history making contract to someone who voluntarily sits out from the game. I know it's an injury and you can't predict that, but someone who does voluntarily sit out doesn't have it in them.
