Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary
It's one of things we actually agree with rightoids about... Democrat strategy is stupid beyond belief; who are the anti-gun libs going to vote for, the Republicans?
Sometimes a market you don't even know exists opens up when you do something, so I get the logic of trying to open a competitor... But what did Origin or UPlay even do? Epic has freebies and a better profit share for publishers, GoG has their commitment to support old games, itch.io has the best profit share, indie focus, and I believe free listing? You need to do something to stand out from the monster that is Steam, or you might as well just stop.
I don't know about excellent but it's not lunacy or ghoul shit.
I'm straight so anything that gets my dick hard is a woman.
Damn those are some harsh passages. Definitely not creative interpretation on that one.
because the mods wife cheated on him with his brother and he’s having a bad week
Implying it wasn't pre-arranged. Brother probably comes in like "hey baby -tips fedora- I just got back from my dog walking job and now I smell like at least 6 golden retrievers" and the mod's wife's panties drop because the brother has a job.
Serious question: is the morality of homosexuality actually brought into question in the old/new testaments, or is this one of those things where people have chosen to interpret some shit creatively? Seen quite a few of those creative takes, like the people claiming the "hot or cold" or "camel through the eye of the needle" bits are actually some obscure references to local conditions rather than actual moral lessons.
Some Lemmy "lefties" are actually just liberals who hate America and want some token reforms of capitalism. If you look at it that way the actions of the extreme/stupid users starts to add up.
Huh I never thought of Burr as a modern Carlin but actually that checks out.
Lemmy is more liberal than left, that's my problem with it. You will get hate for saying very reasonable opinions just because it goes against certain narratives. Better yet, just spit straight facts and you will still get hate, like this: economic class matters more than race for nearly all aspects of life, and a considerable number of primarily-racial factors would also be solved by eliminating poverty and reducing overall inequality.
Now watch the comments roll in.
This framework was provided under the context of "reducing the emotional and cognitive load that comes with job loss". That's not the unhinged psychopathic shit I'm used to seeing on LinkedIn, it's an acknowledgement of human suffering combined with practical advice to help.
Not every post about bad things has to be spent massaging people's feelings or informing us that capitalism is bad; sometimes some help navigating what is becoming an increasingly shit system is appreciated.
