I honestly don't think there should be 1 MVP. It's a team sport and if your receivers don't catch it, blockers don't block, etc, yanno.
They should move to an MVP of each position. Best at that position all year, and then have the MVP in the bowl yanno. Trophies etc not just "best db or whatever".
Like a legit MVP trophy and title for each position. Make the trophy like the best ever at that position, bonuses for winning it. All of it.
