Cute! For the hair, uou could use strands of eyelash yarn or chenille or something super fuzzy, maybe?

What a cutie! Honey Chubs is like the plus-size version of Mokie:

This is such a good idea. I’m stuck on a couple of books that I just can’t seem to finish because I have to put them down when they get too grim or anxiety-producing. Reading the end would either ease the anxiety or let me know I don’t want to finish them.

Libro.fm, Powells blog, LibraryThing (which has both user and automatic recommendations, and user-generated lists that are good for titles in specific genres or specific topics or all the winners of a particular award), New York Times book reviews, the Guardian book reviews, Tor.com, book sites that I happen on when searching for book reviews of titles I’m interested in. I just added a few books to my TBR from a Metafiction list on LibraryThing.

How fun that they were going to wait for the IPO before leaking the data but decided now was a better opportunity, and that they’ve added rolling back the API pricing change to their ransom demands.

How many strawberries in a banana?

I left GoodReads because I try to have as little to do with Amazon as possible. I tried StoryGraph but never warmed up to it. I realize LibraryThing has some indirect Amazon ownership, but I found it an acceptable compromise.

I thought the point was to remove the valuable content, not the cost of resources to Reddit? Valuable content means consumer views, and consumer views attract advertisers, and advertisers generate revenue, which Reddit does care about. If I’d actually generated any content of lasting value over there, I’d delete it and repost it here.

I’ve deleted all my content (by hand—there wasn’t much), and I plan to delete my account on June 30 before Apollo stops working.

I usually have several books going at once, but just based on that moment’s whim. This sounds like a more efficient and less cluttered way of going about it!
