Yeah, from what I hear in my area, everyone went yesterday morning but it quieted down in the afternoon and evening

As far as I know, all of the assembly and testing is done in Taiwan, and they are shipped directly from the factory there. They have a European warehouse for some parts to reduce shipping times, I assume they have a similar warehouse in the us as well.

Ground news is also Canadian, from Kitchener, ON. While not a news network, it is a good news aggregator that shows political bias.

Of course I'm biased, who wouldn't be. Sure, there are other communities, but it was posted here and was not removed, so I don't get why you are making a big deal out of it. Don't you dare call us wannabe yankees, you sure are great at insulting Canadians. It does not, and that does not make Canadians and États-Uniens "practically the same." Would you say the English and Scots are practically the same? They share a country.

Rich of you to assume I'm a yank. I'm not. I'm Canadian. That's why I'm saying this is not against the spirit of the community. Canada and the us are not practically the same. Even to people outside North America. Would you say Mexico and the US are practically the same? Probably not.

I did, you are saying it is against the spirit of the community, I am saying it is not. It's also clear that us internal news is not world news, hence why it is not allowed.

If you seriously want to keep arguing this. Only us internal news is explicitly disallowed. This is not internal news, it is between two countries and is not against the spirit of this community. There is very little news that affects the entire world, if it was limited to that, this community would be very empty.

Something I didn't see in the article is a note on battery quality, if buying from a discount brand, make sure to look into more information on the battery to see if it is properly certified. There have been far too many reports of ebikes catching on fire from faulty batteries.
