My parents still double click everything on their mobile...

I don't see what's so confusing.. We're not allowed to discuss how discussions should be handled. But looking at how this thread is still up, we are allowed to discuss the removal of those discussions discussing how to discuss things ๐
We found a workaround for that. Just swear on the Bible instead of in God's name.
Ticket closed.
But if we let this happen, what's stopping an anime character winning the competition? Or a cat? Or robot? Where do we draw the line?!?
On second thoughts, a cat would be pretty awesome. They'll at least dominate the catwalk part of the competition.
But then people will see how many bugs your code actually has, and how you actually can't be bothered fixing any of them!
I hate how soy has been used by bigots as an insult. Soy products are bloody delicious!
Oh hey. Wasn't expecting you to pop up! Yeah, sorry, my rant wasn't specific to Voyager (in fact, thank you for being one of the few allowing hiding vote buttons). I actually use Voyager on my larger devices.
On my tiny phone though, a few things stand out:
- Large padding between posts. Should probably scale with font size (or let users specify)
- Smallest font size could be smaller.
- No way to hide top & bottom bar (Sync hides them on scroll)
Might dump then on GitHub when I have the time. But if someone else redding this has the free time, feel free to do so :)
As much as I love Voyager, I'm a compact post list kind of guy. And nothing beats Sync's post density and configurability.
All I need is a title, the community it's on, # of comments, and a small thumbnail. If I need anything else, I'll click on the post.
Why would I want an up/down vote button on a compact list? Who upvotes something just from the title??
This reminds me, one provider here (Suncorp, I think) used to let you adjust the agreed value with a slider, and gives you instant feedback on how much premium you'll be paying. That was pretty cool. I just regretted not picking a higher value because the bloody car ended up getting written off 6 months later..
Coming off of this discussion, what you have there might be an extreme version of diazeugma, one with an implicit subject.
Either way, I learnt something new today - zeugma. So thank you :)
Edit: I just realised.. please, no juvenile jokes about "sugma" in this thread, thank you.
