Ik ben hier blijven plakken na de api gedonder. Kom soms op Reddit terrecht door zoek resultaten, maar daar houd het wel bij op.

Ik vermaak mij hier wel. Mis natuurlijk wel wat niche dingen, maar ga er niet terug voor naar Reddit. Dan maar wat minder op internet en ben mensen in het echte leven gaan opzoeken. Oftewel vrijwilliger geworden bij een makerlab en contacten met mensen van de lokale volkstuinen complex hier. Dus hulp en contacten genoeg voor die hobbies

Zit sinds kort ook op pixelfed, maar kijk alleen nog wel op insta. Maar posten doe ik alleen op pixelfed. (Post sowieso weinig)

I now moved to android tv (modified), but tizentube made my Samsung tv at least bearable.

X.org always had issues running multiple displays with different refresh rate for example.

But don't know your exact problem of course. May be something different. I think there will be some big leaps made with nkv (the new open source drivers for Nvidia cards), but it gonna take some time.

You can always try something like pop_os on a live usb. They have the Nvidia drivers installed and use Wayland I think.

It uses the steam deck/big picture ui with gamescope I think. Gamescope(valve) added beta Nvidia support.

So the distros that offer the Steam Deck ui for home theater PC's are now Strating to support Nvidia. (Think bazzite in game mode, chimeraos and holoiso.)

.ml admins and mods clearly have a personal bias and are honest about it. You can think it's a shit take. But you know where they stand for. Like it or not.

D batteries are fine, but C batteries are not common here. We have 2 cat feeders that use 4 C batteries. If they are empty I need to order new ones on the interwebs, they just don't have them in stores here. We now have same spare of course. But pretty annoying the first time.

But maybe if they are just in more stuff I can buy them in a store here.

Already did the family thing on Sunday and survived.

My partner and I will be celebrating with friends, they are also not Christmas and especially family Christmas fans. We are just going playing jack box, baldur's gate and probably some board games. So I'm a bit excited for first Christmas day, but we will not do anything traditional Christmasy.

It's for me one of the most stressful time's of the year.

Mushrooms just grow here in the grasslands. Only problem is harvesting season is mostly in the autumn. So you need te dry them.

But (magic) mushrooms growing in the wild are pretty common in north-west Europe. ( The species is found in a lot of places psilocybe semilanceata ) of course there are many more and you don't even have to wait to get fermented.

Still even I can just pick them they are still not allowed here (in the Netherlands)
