The stories of folks with those contracts will start coming out in a month. Similar to the situation during the freeze a couple of years ago. Griddy in particular had a lot of lower income families who didn’t understand the implication of variable rates along with being told about "average" rates and then were stung when the bill showed up.
We’re in our first year with solar so this should be interesting. It’s brutal out there, ten minutes in the garage and I’m soaked.
This is sad. When these things happen I think about the times when there’s cold and ice in Texas, folks from the north point at the idiot southerners but when it comes to heat and they’re suffering it’s a "poor them" situation. These folks were from Florida and really do feel bad for them. This heat spell is deadly and you might feel fine now but in 30 minutes your world could be in a really bad place. Know your limits, you’re just as much a hero for hunkering indoors.

Interesting situation. Prigozhin has criticized the Russian military over the past few months and Putin has stayed silent. Now this and the military responds but Putin remains silent. Putin needs a weak military to avoid being overthrown, but the FSB opens an investigation, why? Prigozhin threatens to attack the russian military and comes up with a story/lie that he realizes the Ukrainian invasion was based on lies. What does Prigozhin want, money a coup?
Ok, not a good start for Fowler and a little better for Rahm. Looking at the board the morning might have had the advantage but afternoon group has McCarthy leading and Scott is right there. Hope Lowry keeps it up.
We’re going next week and I’ll look, but I’ll say Costco is very geographic in their stocking.
I’d like to see Fowler do well. Top ten would be nice for confidence after a tough ending last week. Always pull for Rahm and if Theegala could have a good week that would be cool.
