Yeah, you sound like a guy who knows what he’s talking about.

Yeah, it is at the moment for the most part. My girlfriend is fluent in Spanish, and I have talked to her about general concepts that overlap.

We decided after I started getting deeper into the language that we should maybe not do that as much so I don’t pick up bad or flat out wrong habits.

I myself am of an Italian descent, however the relatives I have that speak it either live in Italy still and are estranged or sadly have passed away. There is an Italian grocery store near me, and I have heard them speaking it so I was hoping to strike a couple friendships up over time there.

Oh I have it figured out.

You probably should do the same.

While I was mostly joking with my comment and the context of having to bike to work in a hot climate.

I agree with you initially, that works starts when you’re ready to work. I think that definition of ready is a little subjective.

As far as I’m concerned the moment I deviate from my normal non-working behavior is when I am starting work.

Realistically I feel that begins at the commute to work for me, I have some personal bias here since I have an hour long commute when I do. I work from home a lot of the time, so again that also skews my perception of when I “start” work.

Been using a multifaceted approach to cramming Italian in my little brain:

  • Anki flashcards (this is my main thing)
  • conversational pod casts
  • movies, shows and music
  • lastly, Duolingo

Any suggestions on what I could be using instead of Duolingo?

I don’t get paid to arrive earlier, so it’s gonna depend on them for me dawg

It’s pretty interesting study, but also a kind of dense long read:

TL;DR: This article explores how estrogen influences hair and eye color development, showing that women more often have non-black hair (like red and blond) and non-brown eyes (like blue, green, hazel). These traits, once rare, have become more common due to their attention-grabbing qualities and are linked to feminization in men and shyness in blue-eyed boys. The article argues this diversity began in European women, with men inheriting these traits as a side effect. It also discusses a proposed study to further investigate the hormonal influence on these traits and their associated behavioral/physical characteristics.

Same case as Prince right?

I feel like Elon is the type of guy who views having insurance as weak. Like someone or something having an even minute amount of authority over him is unthinkable.

So in most homes I’ve been the piping organ water is all the same for toilets, showers and the kitchen.

So is there any difference from the water that comes out of a shower head? Or hell even the garden hose outside

You can download a free app called pass2u wallet and it will allow you to add any image to your Apple wallet. That might be able to help you with your transit card issue
