The realm in which he picks his fights is full of people who get off on being "above the fray." Every time he attacks someone who can defend themselves, he quietly stops in a hurry.

More intelligence could do the guy some good. He can't answer basic questions about things like his responsibility to abide by his sworn oath as well as how many signal leaks there have been at any given moment.

Lol, yes -- Let's hear from a conservative opinion piece and also the founder of Citizens United's pet propaganda project to make our point about a factual event. I do appreciate the citing though, please keep doing that just with real sources.

Dejoy was step one. This is definitely step 2 or 3 at least. Arguably not making Amazon pay taxes when they're one of the heaviest users of interstates was also a step...

The irony of that being hosted on NYT is palpable.

2 things missing that are more important than any of that:

Endless money and the freedom to lie endlessly. When you have standards, things take longer. Doing otherwise forms a weak government akin to fascism where you need an enemy at all times.

I guess definitionally Trump sycophants are extremely tolerant of the smell of shit.

It's almost always a far right individual, even when the target is also far right.

If I'm not mistaken, a large component of Nintendo's power comes from Japanese copyright laws being far more pro-copyright holder and Nintendo uses it to its full potential. In Japan, this sometimes results in prison sentences and often big fines. it's also applied outside the country against a consortium of universal copyright recognizing countries and so it can affect you regardless of your location although I forget how exactly.

To @[email protected] 's point, perhaps it is the weak qualifications for Japanese patents which have allowed Nintendo to bully everyone.

Probably the same symbolic back and forth "will he won't he" that Bezos and Trump play.

They definitely are, although the most fetishized thing by them is black bulls cucking white men. Seems easy enough to see their criteria is things that flare up their enormous sexual insecurity. Femboys stuff fits that criteria for some of them.

It's a classic case of, "I made this song for a small audience, and now it has a big audience." Resulting in wanting to remove things that aren't acceptable to the big audience, even if they're obvious. I feel like the right way to handle it was to show regret rather than pretend it's something else.

Occasionally, on my daily walks, I see squirrels who aren't scared of humans and can catch detailed photos of them with only a smartphone. This one popped up from a dumpster to the ledge and seemed much more interested in eating than running.

This article is likely to become more and more relevant, but I wanted to highlight many of these heroes for a central theme, which is that not a single one of these people said, "I will not comply" to make themselves a target. They kept their power and used it to save thousands, or they forged documents or narratives through a normal process without drawing unnecessary attention to themselves.

Is this jargon from the EU or something?
