I'm (partially) blind and (partially) deaf. People seem to think you can either see and hear, or you can't. The fact that I often can't hear or see something just seems to annoy people.

I'm 59. Last time I went clubbing was probably 20 years ago. Or I attempted to; the club wouldn't let me in essentially because I was a bloke pushing 40. The group of younger girls I was with had already gone in without me and I was left stranded outside like a lemon. Went home and swore I'd never do that again.

I got permabanned a couple of days ago. I saw a post where a girl was moaning about a woman she worked with taking the mickey out of her whenever she used a big/obscure word. The example she gave was 'franchise.' So everyone was telling her their favourite obscure words to drop onto conversation. I suggested that she should threaten to 'defenestrate' her colleague cos that is probably my favourite word.
Got a warning immediately that I had threatened to physically harm someone. Laughed. Went to bed. Woke up the next day to find I'd been banned
Lost several years of karma but I'm buggered if I'm going crawling to them to get my account back.
Oh I feel you. Until I was diagnosed with sleep apnoea and put on Cpap my life was a hellscape of brain fog and exhaustion.
