Tl; dr: greed of the manufacturers + dealers and the fact that you can't live without a car in the US.

Direct link to the project, but be aware it is still in alpha if you try it https://www.thelastwishproject.com/

While true, Germany does have fluoridated salt and fluoride rinses instead. Its just easier for USA water to be fluoridated since the water supplies are more unified. See https://web.archive.org/web/20170206122513/http://www.wda.org/wp_super_faq/european-countries-have-rejected-fluoridation-so-why-should-we-fluoridate-water

There would (should?) still need a 2/3rd majority to vote yes again, but you make a fair point. Especially given our current federal government.

Yes and no. Then the legislators could then pass all the bills at the end of a session and skip the governors ability to veto anything, which harms the separation of power that should be happening now. Really, just make it so the legislators can override a veto no matter when it was vetoed.

They stole it fair and square. Unlike what Russia did in Crimea.

If you want to know more or see the place via a camera, Miniminuteman has a great video showing and explaining the place, too.

Ahh yes. Less competition is good for the consumer. /s

Then you misunderstand why the US helped set it up in the first place.

Its not to keep the peace. Should it be? Oh yes, it should.

Its not about justice. Should it be? Again, yes.

It was set up to keep the USA, Britain, Russia, and others on the security council in power. In this way, the US flexing its might at the UN is par for the course.

Oh hey look. Bribery.

I don't get too many Flickers around, so when I see one I try to get a picture.

Sign up and compete or just come and watch these masters of their craft!

I'll believe it when I can buy it.

A good guide to some useful widgets.

They're not quite "mods" - per BAR's own FAQ, full modding is not supported quite yet as BAR is still in Alpha but these widgets are possible.

I've only watched this one played 8v8 by inexperienced players but the water portion could make it interesting. Will have to try a 3v3 match on it just to see and I hope it adds some spice to the the 8v8 competitive scene.

I feel like the ability to pause multiplayer games is maybe not good for gameplay. I get players have stuff come up during a game but it isn't the fault of the up to 15 other people + spectators.

However, if I'm just playing with a couple of friends and it isn't competitive, being able to pause because my teeth are floating is nice. They're not gonna just quit and give me the win because we paused.

What are y'alls opinion on being able to pause?
