Will they have enough resources to coup foreign governments or just terrorize domestic opposition? It could still be harm reduction.
Were the Stasi involved in any coups? I don't know. If they weren't and if their violence was merely towards domestic enemies, then this is at least unintentional harm reduction by the Trump administration.

Normalizing with a racist and violent state that violates all international and humanitarian laws and conventions, illegally occupies Palestinian, Syrian and Lebanese lands, and desecrates some of the holiest sites in Islam would delegitimize Saudi Arabia in the eyes of 2 billion Muslims worldwide.
I personally hope that Saudi Arabia never establishes economic or political ties with Israel, at least not without a Palestinian state on 1967 borders as Saudi Arabia, and the Arab League, formally offered in 2002. Anything less is an insult.

Using Linux in the university back in 2004 helped make the jump to Linux at home and I have been using it for 20 years now.
I pretty much switched to the Steam Deck, but I still have a backlog of games on Xbox that I may end up with one or two last Xboxes if my Series S dies for any reason. Hopefully it lives long enough that I don't have to get a new Xbox sometime in the future.
Xbox will stick around as a cheap entry point into Game Pass
