None of the choices here are good, but clearly bending over and letting Trump fuck everyone is worse than the alternatives. China is also not going to take this lying down and they have a lot of potential for damaging Trump because so much of the USA's manufacturing is outsourced there and they can more easily compensate with other partners than Canada can. If Canada, China and Mexico stick to their guns, together, long enough for the American people to do something about this idiot, then things can still work out.

If a threat from an unelected foreign Nazi is all it takes to keep you from doing your job, you're not fit to hold public office.
They can't unless the parties agree that they can. The sneaky part is the "by continuing to use our services, you agree to the new terms" part, which is standard practice. You'd have to terminate your account before the new terms come into effect, then take them to court to make sure they didn't keep your data around and use it to train their AI anyway because they "didn't notice" that that particular content belonged to someone who didn't accept the new terms.
Are you denying that it's getting exponentially worse by the day?
Nothing suspicious at all about being contacted by the subject of a news story just to say it's not newsworthy. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
Part of me wants Trump and Musk's corruption and incompetence to put the USA on the fast lane towards annihilation to see if it shakes the people into action against this dystopic nightmare of an economic/political system.
But the part of me that recognizes all the human suffering that such a scenario would entail in the short term says "thank the Gods old and new for checks and balances!"
Trump is making sure it won't be on a whim.
It's part of his firehose tactic. Do twelve scandalous things a day so that the media and public can't focus on all of them, thus guaranteeing that several will go uncontested and unchallenged.
I have also said out loud that Putin is a shitbag. This carries exactly as much weight as a UN resolution: fuck all.
If The Onion had posted this news two years ago I'd have thought it was too far-fetched to be funny. Now, though...
Europeans can get better quality whiskey from Scotland and Ireland. Where are Americans going to get decent wine?
